So, where is everyone watching it?

This is my first time on the messageboard having stumbled across the London Welsh Centre website. It's nice to know there are plenty of us in and around the Big Smoke!

My girlfriend is coming down from Wrexham (I hail from there too) and will probably head into London early (I am based in Uxbridge) for a wander before deciding to head to a pub for the rugby.

I've read mixed reviews about the Famous Three Kings, and was just wondering what the match day atmosphere is like at the London Welsh Centre? I've never visited it before, so it would be good to come along and look into joining the choir and brushing up on my mother tongue - Welsh was not high on the teaching agenda at my secondary school!

Many thanks

Hi Tim,

There'll be a fairly big crowd watching the game at the London Welsh Centre on Saturday, and there's always a big crowd at the Famous Three Kings Pub in West Ken too. F3K gets really crowded, so if you'd prefer to get a seat and hear the commentary London Welsh Centre is a better bet.

I've got a football match tomorrow so I'm going to miss the rugby, but wear red and I'm sure you'll make some new friends very quickly!

There's plenty of info at the Centre about Welsh lessons and how to join choirs (there's a few to choose from).

Hwyl,

James
